Henna is a compound of water and ink,
and is quite popular in not only the sub-continent, but also in Europe now.
Diwali, Eid, wedding and many more occasions mark the presence of henna in
markets everywhere. Most people prefer a dark shade of henna and may not like
it too much when it starts to fade away. However, since henna penetrates the
material it is applied on deeply, its marks are to be found for a long time. It
is worse when henna accidentally drips on your clothes, leaving unwanted
stains. If you want to get rid of the henna stains on your hands and your
clothes quickly, this is the right place to be. Below, you can find simple home
remedies that help you remove the henna stains and bring back your clothes and
hands to their original condition.
The
following instructions are specifically for henna stains on clothes:
·
Always
test your cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area of the garment to check
for any damage or color fastness. Read the label as well.
·
Also, blot the stained area with a clean cloth
as soon as you drip henna on it to get rid of the excess moisture. Do not rub
the affected area as that will cause the stain to spread. After that proceed as fillows.
