Do you know what grass stains
essentially are? They constitute of proteins along with other organic matter
mixed with chlorophyll. These elements combine and bond with the fabric, making
it difficult to get rid of them. Obtained during gardening, playing outside or
accidentally tripping over a brick can cause grass and mud to leave its mark on
your clothes. Do not get angry at the stain that won’t leave your stain alone;
let us help you. This article offers your simple methods through which you can
remove the grass stain from white as well as colored clothing within no time.
Follow the instructions below and solve your problem!
Always remember to do a spot test on
an inconspicuous area of the clothing. Apply the cleaning solution on a hidden
area and leave it in place for 2 minutes. Remove the solution; if the fabric
discolors or gets damaged in any way, do not continue using the same solution
on that clothing. Treat the stain as soon as you can. Leaving the grass stain
in place on your clothing for a few days can cause it to settle deeper into the
fabric. Moreover, wash the stain from the backside of the clothing with cool
water. This will help you get rid of any dirt that accompanied the grass stain.
Read the label of the clothing for any specific instructions regarding which
ingredient is to be avoided on the clothing. Lastly, do not place the clothing
item in the dryer till the stain has been completely removed. If you do so, it
gets harder to remove the Grass stain later.
