How to Remove Grass Stains from Clothing

·      Clean white cloth

Steps that you will need to take:

1.   The first step towards the removal of the grass stain from your clothing requires you to formulate the cleaning solution. To do so, mix 1/4 cup of bleach with 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide and 3/4 cup of water in a bowl.

2.   Dip a clean white cloth in the solution, and apply it to the stained area of the clothing.

3.   Rub the grass stain gently with the cloth so as to work the solution in the stain.

4.   Leave the solution in place for 30 to 60 minutes, i.e., half an hour to one hour.

5.   After the required time has elapsed, flush the stained area thoroughly with water.

6.   Wash the clothing as normal.

7.   Check your clothes for any remaining visible grass stains. If there are any, repeat the above mentioned steps for the complete removal of grass stains from your clothing.

Tip:

This method is recommended for white colored clothing only as bleach tends to discolor some fabrics.


Method Two (For Colored Clothing)

Things that you will require:

·      Bowl
·      Plain vinegar
·      Baking soda
·      Gloves
·      Water

Steps that you will need to take:

1.   To start off, grab a bowl, pour some vinegar and baking soda in it. The amount poured should be enough to make a paste out of both the ingredients. Mix both in an amount that gives you toothpaste like paste.

2.   Wear gloves. Take some paste with your fingers and apply it to the stained area. Rub the grass stain gently such that the paste is worked into the stain.

3.   Leave the paste in place for 15 minutes.

4.   Once the required time elapses, flush the stain with plain cool water from the backside.

5.   Wash the clothing as normal.

6.   Check the clothing item for any remaining visible grass stains. If there are any, repeat the above steps for the complete removal of grass stains from your clothing.

Tip:

This method of grass stain removal is suitable for colored clothing.
