There are various methods which you can implement. The first method required you to have simple white vinegar which is easily available in the market or even in your fridge. The second method, involved having two materials that is Borax and lemon juice. Using the third method one may require a simply available salt and lemon juice.

You can use one of the following methods depending upon the materials available for the removal of rust stains from clothes.

Method 1 (White vinegar method)

Things you will be required:

·      White vinegar
·      Gloves

Steps:

1.   Using method one which involves a simple vinegar, all that one needs to do is to apply a simple undiluted white vinegar either by spraying white vinegar on the rust stain or by simply applying the solution by hand but making sure that gloves are worn so that hands are not destroyed.

2.   After that make sure that you give enough time, that is around thirty minutes for the vinegar to soak in and around the stains.

3.   After thirty minutes make sure that you rinse the cloth properly and dry it out.

4.   If some tiny parts of rust stain are still visible you can re-apply but in limited quantities for much better and cleaner results after which your cloth will be free of stains altogether.

(However, as previously stated that there is no one way of removing stain and if you want you can apply the second method.)

Method 2 (Lemon juice and Borax method)

Things you will be required:

·      Lemon juice
·      Borax
·      Utensils in which you can make the solution or wash clothes.

Steps:

1.   The second method involves using two ingredients that are lemon juice as well as Borax. The two solutions together will help to make solution to effectively remove the stain from cloth. What one needs to do is to mix equal quantities of Borax and Lemon juice to the make a stain remover solution.

2.   After that, you can apply the solution on the cloth either by hands when wearing gloves, by soaking the cloth into the solution or by spraying the solution on parts of stain.

3.   The same process will be applied as in method 1, which is after applying the solution, one has to wait for thirty minutes after which rinse the cloth and put it on dry.

4.   However, if still parts of Rust Stains are visible on your clothes, repeat the process until satisfactory results.

Method 3 (Lemon juice and Salt)

Things you will be required:

·      Salt
·      Lemon juice
·      Utensils in which you can make the solution or wash clothes.

Steps:

1.   The third method involves making a mixture by combining salt as well as lemon juice until a thick mixture is made.

2.   Apply the solution to the desired area and put it to dry under hot sun.

3.   After that moisten the area with lemon juice until and unless the rust stain is completely removed.

4.   At last, make sure to remove the left over salt from the cloth.

Tips and Warnings:

There are several things that one needs to keep in mind before one start off removing the stains and making the mixtures:

1.   Adjust the mixture according to the cloth material, some clothes are very soft and the mixture should be light.

2.   Gloves should be worn when making and applying the mixture.

3.   Make sure to remove one solution completely from the cloth before you go on applying another solution.

4.   Time yourself and don't soak the cloth for longer than thirty minutes as it will destroy your cloth completely.

5.   Always consult someone before making a solution for better results.
