spread all his chocolate on it; you have no other option but to clean your very
new car.
Well you do
not have to worry much about it as these stains are very common and you are not
the only one who is going through such stains. So there are numerous ways
through which you can get rid of such stains and free away your depression. These methods are mentioned below.
Method
1 (Using Neutral Detergent and Ammonia)
Things you will be required:
·
Ammonia.
·
A cup.
·
Water not
necessarily running water.
·
Table spoon.
·
Neutral detergent.
·
Tea spoon.
·
Sponge.
Steps:
1. If
the chocolate is dried up scrap off it with the help of a knife. If it is wet
you can remove the excess chocolate by using spoon.
2. Mix
around one tea spoon of neutral detergent into lukewarm cup of water and mix it
well. A neutral detergent is the one which do not contain alkalis or bleaches.
Apply it on the stains with the help of white towel and blot. Move from
outwards to inwards.
3. Then
mix one tablespoon of ammonia into cup of water and mix it well. After this
apply on the stain and blot it in the same way as did in step 2.
4. After
that carefully sponge with clean water and blot with the help of clean towel.

will notice that the chocolate stain will be completely removed.
Method 2 (Using Carpet

This
method is suitable for upholstery fabric which is not water safe
Things you will be required:

Dull knife.
·
Soft small brush.
·
Carpet cleaner
spray.
·
Sponge.
Steps:
1. Allow
the chocolate fallen on the upholstery to harden. It is easier to remove the
hardened chocolate than a fresh one. In summers chocolate takes a long time to
harden, so in that case you can use ice cubes which will help you in this
regard.
2. When
the chocolate is hardened scrap all the hardened chocolate with a dull knife.
Make sure that the knife should not be sharp as it may destroy your upholstery.
3. Then
spray very carefully and not excessively, carpet cleaner spray on the stained
area.
4. Leave
it for ten minutes.
5. With
a small soft brush gently rub the stain area where you sprayed for five to six
minutes maximum.
6. After
that, with a wet sponge you can wipe the area and by doing this you will find
no further Chocolate Stains.
Method 3 (Using Dish
washing liquid)

Dish washing
liquid.

already discussed in the method 2 that it is easy to remove the hardened
chocolate than fresh chocolate, so let the chocolate to dry.
2. Use
your finger nails or the back side of spoon to scrap of hardened chocolate.
3. Mix
dishwashing liquid in a cup of water to form a soapy solution.
4. Apply
soapy solution on the stain area by using spongy and blot it.
5. Dip
a clean sponge in cold water and wipe for at least five minutes on the stain
area after which you will find no more Chocolate Stains on the upholstery.
6. Blot
the area with dry paper towels.
Method 4 (Soap Solution)
Things you will be required:
·
Soap solution like
shout.
·
Water.
·
Dry towels.
Steps:
1. Rub
a dry towel on the stain area to rub away any dust or chocolate particles which
can hinder in the cleaning process.
2. Pour
some soap solution like shout on the stain area making sure you do not soak the
area.
3. Leave
it applied on for ten minutes.
4. Use
dry towels to wipe the area.
5. Find
your upholstery perfectly clean and tidy and free of Chocolate Stains.
Tips and Warnings:
1. Please
ensure that neutral detergent has no bleach or alkalis as it can be harmful for
the very purpose.
2. If
lukewarm water is not available then room temperature water will also work but
cold water will not do justice to the mixture.
3. The
knife should not be sharp as it can destroy the upholstery.
4. Make
sure that the carpet cleaner brush is soft enough.
