How To Remove Coffee Stains From Clothes:



Coffee is a choice for all whether you are at office or at home. There comes a time in every life when coffee spills over the clothes. Coffee stains are very stubborn and if immediately not removed and allowed to set then it will be nearly impossible to remove them. Following are the simple steps to remove fresh coffee stains from clothing.

Things you will be required:

·      Clean cloth / Paper Towel
·      Laundry detergent
·      Cup/Dish

Steps:

1.   Moisten a clean cotton cloth or a paper towel and blot the coffee stain using a firm lifting motion until no or little stains come off the on the paper towel. Only blot the coffee stain, do not rub it as it may spread the stain.

2.   Rinse the coffee stain from back with cold water. Do not rinse from the front as it may spread the strain.

3.   In a small cup or dish make a paste of laundry detergent and warm water. Use this solution to blot the coffee stain (both sides) with the help of clean cloth or apply it on the stain (both sides) by using a tooth brush .Let it to stay on the clothes for 15-20 minutes.

4.   Rinse the stain until all the detergent is removed. If stain is still present repeat the step number 3.

5.   Wash the clothing as usual. Your clothes will be free of Coffee Stains.S

Tips and Warnings:

1.   Make sure that if coffee stain is still present do not iron the shirt. Because in this way it will lock the stain and will be impossible to remove in future.

2.   Try to go for a white paper towel as the colour as the colour on your towel or cloth may bleed on the clothing.

3.   Always try to remove the coffee stains as soon as possible. The longer you will take the difficult it will be to remove it.

For an old coffee stains borax can help you out. Make a paste of borax with water. Apply it on the stain and remain it for 20 minutes. After that wash the cloth usually
